Greeting cards are an important way of communicating with peers and friends during special occasions and days of national importance. Giving greetings produces goodwill in the recipient. The then government’s trend was to send paper greeting cards or use free internet-based e-greeting sites. The first option is not eco-friendly. Free Internet-based sites do not specifically address the specific requirements and requirements of the greeting format for government organizations.
eGreetings Portal eGreetings.gov.in
Based on the assessment of these requirements, under the initial Harvest program of Digital India, MeYY and NIC have created the government’s own e-greeting portal. The portal includes all the best wishes for various occasions, including the days of national importance.
This portal also tells about the specific needs of government organizations. For example, specific plans can be made for national campaigns along with National Science Day, Women’s Day, various health days, etc. Each department can put its own greetings and slogans to connect with its employees and associates and stakeholders. Greeting designs and templates are being filled with the crowd.
The portal is open for use by all citizens. It will promote the spread of information related to national importance, as well as promote greater participation and involvement of citizens in the process of creative work for the government.
