Mukhyamantri Krishi Aashirwad Scheme 2019

Mukhyamantri Krishi Aashirwad Yojna is an ambitious scheme of the State Government, aimed at improving the financial condition of the farmers and providing them timely investment assistance before the beginning of the kharif season. This scheme is linked to the income of farmers of Hon’ble Prime Minister till 2022.

Marginal and small farmers will be given Rs 5000 per acre (maximum 5 acre) per year through DBT in their bank accounts. For the financial year 2019-20, for this plan, Rs. 2250 crores have been kept.

Under the Chief Minister’s Agricultural Mission, the government will provide the farmers for Rs. 5,000 per acre crops per acre. All the farmers whose land holdings are less than 1 acre, they get minimum 5,000 rupees per year. This subsidy will be given through the check under the Jharkhand Chief Minister, Agricultural blessings scheme 2019. About 22.76 lakh small and marginal farmers will be benefitted through this scheme.

Farmers can use funds for the following purposes:

  • Seed purchase
  • Purchase of fertilizers
  • Labor and land preparation
  • Farm Equipment Recruitment
  • Purchase of agricultural equipment
  • Agricultural expenditure

The primary objective of the scheme is to reduce the dependence of farmers on non-institutional credit / private lenders. During the financial year 2019-20, 22.76 lakh farmers are being targeted while covering approximately 4.5 lakh acres of kharif cropped area.
