The PM Modi government can invite applications for PMKMY (PMKMY) from August 1, 2019 through online or offline mode. Nomination of this farmer pension scheme is going to start shortly after soft launch by PM Narendra Modi. It is expected that the Honorable PM will make a formal announcement of PM Kisan Mandhan Yojana in his Independence Day speech or in a special function in August.
But before the launch of PM Kisan Mandhan Yojana, a significant mass of registration in the number of 4-5 million will be added to the Kisan Pension Scheme. Like the PM Kisan Mahanti Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN), the pension scheme will be started only after enrollment of the required number of beneficiaries. The PM-Kesan scheme was officially rolled out after completion of 10 million registrations.
All the farmers, who are already registered for quarterly income assistance of Rs 2,000 under the PM-Kesan scheme, will be targeted first in the PM Pension Scheme for the farmers.
At the same time, we would like to tell you that the Central Government is planning to introduce the PM Kisan Adhash Nidhi online registration process at CSC. This e-registration will accelerate the implementation of the income-assistance scheme for the farmers. Now farmers will be able to apply online for PMKishan scheme and through PMCs, PMKs can fill application form.
Pradhan Mantri Mandhan Yojana 2019 Registration Form
Under this PM Pension Scheme for the farmers, every farmer has to contribute a monthly contribution of Rs 100 per month to get minimum fixed monthly pension of Rs 3,000 per month. All beneficiary farmers will get this pension amount at the age of 60 years. In order to successfully roll-out this farmer pension scheme, the government has entrusted this work to the Common Service Center (CSC).
The central government will also contribute the same amount in the pension fund managed by Life Insurance Corporation. LIC will be the nodal agency for its implementation and will be responsible for the payment. After coming to power for the second time, the Modi government has approved a separate pension scheme for farmers in its first cabinet meeting.
PM Kisan Scheme
In the accepted PM Kisan Yojana, the government will cover about 5 crore beneficiaries in the first 3 years. This will cost the government exchequer Rs 10,774.5 crore annually. For this purpose, an amount of Rs 900 crore was allocated for the Prime Minister’s farming scheme in 2019-20 by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
The Central Government will also prepare an online grievance redressal system for complete transparency. This scheme is similar to that of the existing PM Labor Yogi Man-Dhan scheme for unorganized workers and PM Karam Yogi Maandhan Yojna for retail merchants and small shopkeepers.
Difference between Pm Kisan Yojana and PM Kisan Mandhan Yojana
The main difference between the PM-Kisan scheme and the PM Kisan Mandhan Yojana is that the PM-farmer is applicable to all farmers, while the PM Kisan Mandhan scheme is only for small and marginal farmers, who have less than 2 hectare (5 acres) Is the ground.
